Where Does My Help Come From?
During the past two weeks, our family was able to take a break from ship life and head to the mountains of Switzerland. We stayed at the Mercy Ships Switzerland office and had a peaceful and rejuvenating time. I truely cannot remember the last time we ever took such a break from work.
We also had the chance to spend some time hiking in the amazing mountains of Switzerland. I caught myself humming songs from the Sound of Music (the movie was based in Austria, but I was close) at times, but I also reflected many times on Psalm 121 as I looked upon the creation before me!
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
