Adam Zidane was born to play. Named after a famous football star, there was nothing he’d once loved more than kicking a ball around with his friends. When an infection caused a severe ankle contracture, however, Adam was left unable to walk properly - let alone run or play his favorite sport. For over three years, Adam has been walking on his heel, believing he’d never be able to play normally again. It wasn’t until the arrival of the Africa Mercy that the family could hope that Adam’s childhood dreams might be reawakened.
