Peter Ainsworth from the U.K. has served onboard the Africa Mercy for the past 12 months as the Vehicle Mechanic and has been grateful for the opportunity to see things he wouldn’t normally see: “Volunteering for Mercy Ships has had a big impact on me. Your eyes are opened to how some people are forced to live and how devastating a small medical incident can be.”
