Honore brought his younger sister to the Africa Mercy to receive life saving surgery following the unexpected death of their parents. With funeral costs to pay, his chances of getting fourteen year old Julienne the help she needed were slim: "If our parents were still alive today they would be doing everything they could to get Julienne the help she needed. They tried and tried but with no results. If they could see where she is now, they would be so happy and so proud"
