Did you know? Milo Falsing (Denmark) currently serves as Captain onboard the Africa Mercy… but he claims a few other novel titles, as well. He is the first Scandinavian volunteer to captain the ship, and the youngest captain in Mercy Ships history. In a twist of fate, Captain Milo was also the last passenger to ever ride on the vessel during its former life as a Danish rail ferry, more than 20 years ago. His love for this ship began during his childhood and has been brought full circle by his role as Captain: “This means more to me than words can describe. This is a place you can’t even begin to explain. It’s a piece of heaven on earth.”
