As a volunteer nurse on the Africa Mercy, Maddy from Australia is on what she calls the ‘front line’, proving direct hope and healing to patients.
“I get to see miracles everyday on this ship; a child can see, a tumor is removed - it’s a joy to watch these patients enter a new world of love and compassion. We now get to shower them with love and kindness as they start to dream of a bigger and brighter future.”
