Africa Mercy Shipyard
This holiday season, we're giving a big shoutout to Mercy Ships partner Astican shipyard in the Canary Islands! Behind the scenes of the #AfricaMercy, 450 workers from Astican worked alongside crew to restore the ship. They used about 49 tons of paint, replaced 120 windows, blasted and painted over 14,000 tanks, and upgraded the main engine, among many other tasks big and small. This hard work will ensure the ship is in great shape for her field service in Senegal next year. #AsticanShipyard #ThankYou
