Malick’s physical therapist Emily Haw describes him as inquisitive and ambitious. Most of our orthopedic patients are taken in wheelchairs or are carried to deck 7; however, Malick insisted, “I want to walk to deck 7!”
Malick’s determined spirit is admirable, and it’s surely boosting his recovery!
