Sailing to Africa

At the beginning of August, the Global Mercy sailed from the Canary Islands to Ghana, West Africa. The 11-day journey across the Atlantic was peaceful, restful, and filled with stunning ocean views, unless you happened to be seasick!
It was a special time to slow down, enjoy life at sea, and prepare for the next chapter in Ghana. Along the way, I captured some photographs to document the journey, from beautiful sunsets to endless blue horizons.
As I looked out across the ocean, I was reminded of these words from Psalm 69:34:
"Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them."Psalm 69:34 (NIV)
I hope these photos give you a glimpse of this voyage from the Canary Islands to Ghana and the beauty of God's creation along the way.
